2018 has been a fast year. We are now twice as many working at Rebel & Bird, and we have worked with large, inspiring clients such as Yoga Girl, Parks and Resorts, Filmstaden, and Öresundskraft.

In March, we celebrated when SF.se was named the best entertainment site of the year. We have been working with Filmstadens digital transformation for many years now, and that work continued throughout the year and will continue in 2019.

When Yoga Girl Instagram phenomenon needed a new site, they turned to us, and in October, we launched the result - a social hub for yoga enthusiasts.

Another major customer is the Postcode Lottery, where we have worked with UX and developed churn flow, new campaign pages, and new purchase flow. The result is that more customers are digitally active, and the conversion is higher.

For Rebel and Bird, it is essential to share our knowledge and experience. During the summer, we participated for the third time in the #SthlmOp initiative, where students from Stockholm's upper secondary schools solved challenges from the city.

In August, we launched our new trainee program, Rebel & Academy. A program where newly trained people work at Rebel and Bird with real assignments while also receiving a mentor and participating in a training program. Our product owner Jasmin Yaya, who also chairs the program board for the Digital Data Strategist program in Hyper Island, went to Singapore to hold workshops and lectures, but also shared knowledge in more detail. During the fall, she lectured, for example, to 200 stores' expansion managers at the Retail Open House Summit. The theme was how the physical stores of the future will work.

During the year, we launched our own pod - Growth pod. Jasmin Yaya and Joni Lindgren are in the pod, and next year you will be able to share much more knowledge that way. The Growth pod discusses tech, growth, leadership, trends, news, and the future with industry experts at Rebel and Bird and other companies. You can also share useful tools and practical experiences from people who work with growth in the email - subscribe to Three Thursday tips by our researcher Pelle Sten.

During the year, we donated SEK 260100 to various charities. We are very proud to have supported the activities of Suicide Zero, Swim of Hope, and Movember Foundation through The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride.

Something that we at Rebel and Bird appreciate is our educational contribution. Some of us chose to go to Berlin and take a course in PWA and AMP at Google, others went to Microsoft Ignite in Orlando, another bunch went to Nordic.design here in Stockholm. Also, there were courses in digital marketing on Hyper Island, development at Tjejer kodar, help from a rhetoric coach, mentoring, and much more.

But not everything is work. Most enjoyable during the year was probably when the entire office went to Disneyland in Paris, and user-tested the entertainment area.

Another thing that happened outside the office was that Göran and Daniel competed in Ironman Kalmar and that Pelle won the Master Image 2018 in the Photos Page Magazine.

As usual, we have held our traditional tests of semla (Bread & Salt won!) And cinnamon buns (K-marked Patisserie & Bakery won!). This year we also added chips and dips to the list of test items.

Maybe we shouldn't mention that it has rained coffee through the roof, twice.
